Hello from Rose & David at Northview Gardens
With our intent to be married within the year We purchased 2.5 acres in 2001, ready to create our matrimonial home. We were young and handy enough to 'take on a fixer', while still holding down day jobs ~ Weddings & Events were never on the radar.
We married on July 14, 2002, ~ Yeah! Blended a family and settled into our home. Come 2009 our niece and her fiance asked if we would host their wedding in June 2010 on the property. Our response~ ”Sure, We can Do That!”
The family's small, intimate marriage & celebration became the catylist for Our new journey, Northview Gardens ~ Outdoor Wedding Venue.
The building of our beautiful 2000' ft venue, The Compass, in Spring 2012 provided the opportunity to celebrate our 10-yr Wedding Anniversary, Renewing our Vows. This would be the first of all the celebrations to follow.
In June 2013 we held our 'Grand Opening' and introduced Northview Gardens ~ Outdoor Wedding Venue.
Welcoming community, family, friends and many wedding vendors. Nigel our son, had stepped in as our bartender/labourer/multi-tasker alongside David & Rose and together we managed to create our idea into a seasonal, family, community-based business.
Today we take pride in our Premier Wedding Venue.
As we begin our 9th year hosting weddings and events at Northview Gardens we are reminded of the many couples, their families and friends who have shared with us their trust, excitement & beautiful celebrations.
The businesses whose expertise and skills, labour, wisdom, support and especially their ease of business has made a difference. We have never been alone, and the 'labour of love' has made this journey successful. We love what we do, because We Do “I Do” at Northview Gardens.
